Traralgon 50 Mile Farmers Market

It’s been lovely to have some rain over the past few days; the hills have taken on a green tinge and it’s been nice to have a break from watering the garden! Hopefully there will be more widespread rain soon…..

We are off to a market this weekend, to the 50 Mile Farmers Market at Traralgon, a relatively new market at the VRI Hall on Queens Parade, from 8am -1pm on Saturday. The weather sounds like it will be lovely, and we are looking forward to going along for the first time. We have a few new types of sourdough; beetroot loaf, and a semolina bread with sultanas, orange zest, and fennel seeds; and fennel, rosemary, and preserved lemon. All made with freshly stoneground biodynamic and organic flour, water, and salt, with just the other ingredients and no yeast, ascorbic acid, sugar, emulsifiers or preservatives! We would love to see you there!
