Hello, well, it is getting to that time of year! And we are still busy baking, with the Prom Country Farmers Market at Foster coming up on Saturday, as well as deliveries to our stockists, and then one more bake on Monday 21st December before we have a few weeks off from baking. Our first bake in the new year will be 11th January for delivery on the 12th. I should say, a few weeks off from baking bread, as we are doing our turkey ( with sourdough stuffing of course!) and ham in the wood fired oven for Christmas, and looking forward to having our first Christmas dinner in our new house here on the farm at Mardan.
In the New Year, as we have the past six weeks since we started baking, we will be making bread twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays, for delivery Tuesdays and Saturdays. The bread isn’t ready to bake until mid afternoon, usually, and by the time the last loaves come out, it is generally evening; the loaves cool over night and are packed early the next morning ready for delivery.
On Tuesdays we currently deliver to Dalliance in Mirboo North, Leongatha Health Foods, and Baw Baw Food Hub in Warragul.
On Saturdays, we take bread to Dalliance, Paddlewheel in Koonwarra, Jjarahs in Inverloch, UpBeet in Wonthaggi, and Grow Lightly in Korumburra. And we are at two markets; Foster Farmers Market, and Mossvale Market .
