Fine chocolates and wood fired, organic sourdough……what more could you want? Dalliance Chocolaterie and Providore in Mirboo North are now stocking our bread and also using it on their menu. We are very happy and excited that they are doing so. And a good coffee and some runny eggs and crispy bacon or fresh greens from the garden don’t go astray either…..
It has been a lovely day baking today, with my two little helpers, who, after very carefully and fastidiously washing their hands, like to pass the bannetons or scrape stuck bits of dough off the table, or shape extra dough into their own little loaves; a snail and a ‘crocdadidle’ today. It’s then a long wait while their loaves prove and finally bake, but it doesn’t take long to eat them as soon as they are cool enough!
